We were excited to conduct the workshop, ‘Innovation and Transformation: Visual Thinking Tools to Develop Global Citizens’ at the UNESCO APCEIU 9th International Conference on Global Citizenship Education, Seoul.

We presented our thinking tools through the lenses of ethical dilemmas on issues such as ‘Individual Autonomy versus Public Health’ with reference to the pandemic as well as ‘The Right to Water versus Economic Considerations’. Participants  from a range of fields (eg Education and Martial Arts) discussed how they could integrate tools into their work practices to inspire students.

We stayed on for a few days after the conference to enjoy the rich historical and cultural heritage of Seoul as well as attend two vibrant Art Fairs – an incredible trip!
